Halong Bay

Halong Bay includes thousands of limestone islands and small islands, where you can sail around for a day or more, on overnight boats. Legend has it that when Vietnamese were attacked in Ha Long Bay, a dragon mother and her children came and fought alongside the Vietnamese. Impressed by their surroundings, they decided to stay in the bay and into the sea. Ha Long Bay means that the dragon is decreasing in ancient Vietnamese. In 1994, it was recognized as a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO. In the area, you can also find some underground caves that you can explore or jump on the largest island of Halong Bay, Cat Ba and located in one of the pristine beaches.


SaPa

Farther north, you will find magical Sapa, with ethnic tribes and rice fields far from sight. Sapa is for those who like to be surrounded by nature and want to learn another part of Vietnam. This mountainous area is perfect for trekking or walking days. One of the most popular things in Sapa is in homestay with Mong people, eating authentic local food and immersing themselves in their culture and tradition.


Mekong Delta

In the south, you have the lovely Mekong Delta, where you can visit floating villages and temples and visit the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve, listed by UNESCO. The river begins in the Himalayas and passes through many countries in Asia such as Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia, before coming to Vietnam. This river is very important to the diet and economy of the Vietnamese people because more than half of the land of rice and fish comes from this region.


Hoa Lo prison

The famous Hoa Lo Prison, also known as the Hanoi Hilton, is one of Vietnam's most important historical museums. Nothing really can prepare you for this visit. It is scary, attractive and scary at the same time. The museum is not for the faint of heart, but it is such an important part of Vietnamese history that it is shameful to miss the Hoa Lo prison. The prison was built by the French in 1886 and completed the renovation in 1913. The museum takes you back to the French colonial era during the Vietnam War. Hoi An

Arguably one of the most famous and beautiful cities in Vietnam, Hoi An is a party for your eyes and it's hard to leave once you get there. Although this city is quite small, there are many things to do and see in Hoi An. It is also ranked by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. The old town is where most visitors come and stay. During the day, you can see all the colors of the city, visit some beautiful souvenir shops, take some pictures of the main sites and cool down in a bohemian café. At night, the city lights up with thousands of lanterns and cannot impress Hoi An later.



Cu Chi Tunnels

Just outside Ho Chi Minh City, there is the Cu Chi tunnel used during the Vietnam War. This wonderful tunnel network was built during the wars of France and America. Hai Van Pass

On one side, you will see the mountains while on the other side, you will see unspoiled beaches. It is a spectacular and impressive trip along one of Vietnam's most beautiful routes.



Ma Pi Leng Pass

The far north is Ma Pi Leng Pass in Ha Giang. Those who find this remote northern road often remember this is the most beautiful street in Vietnam. Thanks to the lush mountains and unspoiled landscape, it is hard not to love Ma Pi Leng Pass. The best way to go this route is a motorbike, but if you don't feel comfortable with it, you can always use a local motorbike (motorcycle taxi), take a local bus or take a taxi.
